Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer

Hi, I'm Jodie, a creative soul, mamma to a gorgeous boy, sunshine and flower lover, artist and designer. Creating beautiful art is my happy place. Being able to add a little happiness and beauty to the world through my work honestly feels like a gift. Seeing my designs come to life on products, well that just makes me want to do cartwheels! Nature often plays the lead role in majority of my work with colourful florals and sweet little animals. It's in the little details that often sparks my imagination. I'm lucky to be based in a beautiful coastal area south of Sydney, with stunning beaches and lush parks that provide me with endless inspiration for my art. Having a Graphic Design background my work tends to lean towards being a flat digital art style. I like to add a little texture through hand drawn illustration, watercolour and still-life photography. I love to play with colour to create a variety of moods from fun and vibrant to soft and romantic.
