Surface pattern designer

Hello! I’m Marina Ellen Simillide, a surface pattern designer based on the sunny island of Cyprus! I create patterns for various industries including fashion, home, and accessories. I have graduated in 2013 with a fashion and textile design degree, specialising in surface pattern design and have since been working as a freelance pattern designer expanding my portfolio through exploration, research, and development. I would describe my design style as a vibrant burst of colours with a retro feel. In my work, I love to combine the vivid colours of nature with more graphic shapes inspired by specific flowers or plants that I find attractive.
