Hi I'm Angela Dale of Fabricadabra Creations. A self confessed textile lover, pattern junkie and colour addict I have spent most of my life working with textiles, pattern and colour designing and creating costumes and soft goods for performers and set decor and now am creating my own patterns for surface design applications. My inspiration comes from the world around me - nature, art, different cultures, everyday life. I work with a variety of wet and dry media and digital applications. I love using a fountain pen for drawing and have a variety of pens with different nibs. I live and work in the foothills near Calgary, Alberta, Canada and am fortunate to be surrounded by magnificent scenery right out of a vintage western.
