Surface Pattern Designer

Thank you for your interest in my work! I am an artist and surface pattern designer based in Durham, North Carolina. My work is bold, playful and abstract. My background is in portraiture, a passion since my childhood growing up in Massachusetts, where I could always be found drawing faces. Over time I began incorporating patterned backgrounds to my portraits, which eventually evolved into creating surface pattern designs. I love playing with graphic shapes and overlaying different textures – from sketchy hand drawn looks, to watercolor, to scratched/worn textures. Bright, colorful geometrics, stylized florals, and playful, happy abstracts are my favorite things to draw.
