Hello! I'm Luisa, the founder and creative artist at Nazzaro Design. I have enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a graphic designer, illustrator, teacher, and advertising art director, working with Fortune 500 clients, small businesses, and non-profits over the past 25 years. In addition to working in-house at various organizations, I founded Nazzaro Design, a minority-owned creative design studio in 2001. I enjoy bringing vibrant artwork to life from original sketches to analog and digital media. The art I create draws from my interest in recurring motifs in nature, literature, art, science, and pop culture. I am especially drawn to the symbols, experiences, artifacts, and traditions that resonate with us and tell our stories. This philosophy of interconnectedness and shared human experience sparks me to make art that invites joy and beauty into everyday living. I design with the idea that my artwork can be applied to home decor textiles, fashion fabrics, paper goods, and more!
