Paula Bouffard lives on the Pearl Island in Doha, Qatar. When she is not drawing, painting or printing, she enjoys knitting, quilting and taking long walks along the Persian sea. For her surface work, she likes to bring the marks created using traditional mediums into the digital world and transform them into seamless repeat patterns. ​ Paula's aesthetics is deeply rooted in the majestic nature of her homeland, Quebec, Canada. Her designs are also inspired by her exposure to other places, especially Morocco and Turkey where she has family, and Qatar where she currently lives. Her work is sold at Qatar Museums, Msheireb Museums, Studio 7 and Hilton The Pearl.
