Daniela Glassop is an illustrator and designer that likes to paint and draw in the digital realm to create illustrations for textiles, wallpaper, greeting cards, gifts and home decor markets. She works from her independent studio in Newcastle, Australia. Daniela trained as a Graphic Designer and Artist that has spent her life around fashion and textiles. She has worked as a Graphic Designer in the creative design and advertising industries in Sydney and Newcastle, and Visual Communication Design Lecturer at The University of Newcastle for 25 years. Daniela's illustrations and paintings are often intricate and based on the natural environment, imagined worlds and nostalgia to impart a sense of beauty, optimism and delight.
